All Blacks squad, Hosea Gear and Sitiveni Sivivatu

The speedsters get the treatment this week. Huffing and puffing, vein popping eye bulgers that they are, straining every muscle and sinew in an effort to streak away from the pug-faced, one-toothed, cauli-eared prop who's intent is to pummel them into the turf, like a pizza chef's hairy fist kneeding a large, sweaty hunk of dough.

So there's that and also 'thumbnails' of the All Black squad that I've been concentrating on for the last few weeks. Full scale this could measure 2 by 4 metres. Now wouldn't that look impressive on the walls of the All Blacks admin office, or a cafe or bar. Nudge, nudge!!!

ANZ Competition - How would you welcome the world?

Just a quick update. I've popped my caricature idea onto http://www.welcometheworld.co.nz/ . If you feel compelled pop on sign up and vote for me!!!

I couldn't do an update without a picture. This one I did for Caricaturama 3000 as a gesture to link the devastation from the earthquakes in Christchurch, NZ and Japan.

Conrad Smith, Stephen Donal, Jo Rokocoko and Adam Thomson

I've ramped up the contrast on this group, love the way it brings out the oranges and purples and blues. Stephen Donald looks a bit jaundice though, and I think Adam Thomson needs to be a bit more pale blue like a typical Dunedinite!

Neemia Tialata, Isaia Toeava, Samuel Whitelock and Kieran Read

A very productive week so far, should be able to churn out another 4 or 5 over weekend and about the same again next week. That should give me a squad of about 30 All Blacks which will allow me to wiggle and tout my doodling bee-hind around Wellington and New Zealand. See if anyone is actually willing to give me some cash for my efforts. We'll see come the end of the month.

Piri Weepu, Jimmy Cowan, Andrew Hore and Mils Muliaina

Churning these out quickly now in preparation for my pitch/launch/stab in the dark at the end of the month. Still not happy with the likeness of Piri 'hairy hamster cheeks' Weepu but he'll do for the time being. Very pleased with Jimmy 'the chin' Cowan, Andrew 'cube head' Hore and Mils 'the grin' Muliaina. I'm aiming to get another 10-15 done by the end of March so another big update next week.

Cory Jane and Tony Woodcock

Gotta get through the All Black aquad by the end of the month for a collaboration that will hopefully be finacially fruitful. I would have included Piri Weepu with these chaps but I'm not happy with the likeness. Crikey! You'd think with his wobbly conk, cavernous nostrils and grizzled hamster cheeks he'd be easy but not at the moment. Still enjoy Cory 'sausage catcher' Jane and Tony 'baby' Woodcock who is not to be confused with the Aresnal and England striker of the 80s who slammed in 7 goals against Turkey . . . hee hee . . . Woodcock . . . juvenile but funny!
